CAL3QHC/CAL3QHCR
By US Environmental Protection Agency, Office of Air Quality Planning and Standards (OAQPS). CAL3QHC is a CALINE3 based CO model with queuing and hot spot calculations and with a traffic model to calculate delays and queues that occur at signalized intersections; CAL3QHCR is a more refined version based on CAL3QHC that requires local meteorological data.

Hazardous Materials Transportation Training Modules
By US Department of Transportation. U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) regulations require training (and retraining) of all employees who perform work functions covered by the Hazardous Materials Regulations (HMR; 49 CFR Parts 171-180). Any employee who works in a shipping, receiving or material handling area or who may be involved in preparing or transporting hazardous materials is required to have training. The Office of Hazardous Materials Safety has prepared training modules that meet the requirements for General Awareness Training as prescribed in Title 49 CFR, Part 172, Subpart H. The Training Modules contain Instructor and Student manuals in an Adobe Acrobat PDF format.

HYROAD
By US Environmental Protection Agency, Office of Air Quality Planning and Standards (OAQPS). The HYbrid ROADway Model (HYROAD) integrates three modules that simulate the effects of traffic, emissions and dispersion. It is designed to determine hourly concentrations of carbon monoxide (CO) or other gas-phase pollutants, particulate matter (PM) and air toxics from vehicle emissions at receptor locations that occur within 500 meters of the roadway intersections.

RADTRAN
By Sandia National Laboratories. RADTRAN is the national and international standard for transportation risk assessment for radioactive materials. It combines user-determined demographic, routing, transportation, packaging, and materials data with meteorological data (partly user-determined) and health physics data to calculate expected radiological consequences of incident-free radioactive materials transportation and associated accident risks. Free for approved users.

Safety and Fitness Electronic Records System (SAFER)
By US Department of Transportation, Office of Motor Carrier Safety. SAFER provides carrier, vehicle, and driver safety and credential information to fixed and mobile roadside inspection stations. Internet access is provided to Carrier Snapshots, a concise electronic record of a carrier’s identification, size, commodity information, and safety record, including safety rating (if any) and roadside out-of-service inspection information. The carrier snapshot is available via an ad-hoc query (one carrier at a time).
